When a pane’s account hits its 5-hour or weekly limit, Flex Hydra shows when it resets and offers two ways on. Continue moves the pane to the account with the most room left and resumes the same conversation there.
Resume at waits for the reset instead and types “continue” into the pane the minute it comes. Your files stay on disk either way.

Sign in through the CLIs
Each account signs in through Claude Code or Codex itself, as you always would. Flex Hydra never reads your credentials.
One history for every account
Chat history, skills and settings are shared from your main account, so /resume finds every chat on any account. Each account keeps its own login and plugins.
Usage at a glance
The 5-hour and weekly usage of every account, with reset times, side by side in the Usage tab.
Per pane, project or teammate
Set a default account, override it for a workspace, or pick one for a single pane or teammate.
Or let it choose
Lowest usage starts each pane on the account with the most room left. A set account that’s at its limit or signed out is skipped for the roomiest one.
Chats and routines too
A chat whose account is out moves to the signed-in one with the most room and says so. A routine with no account left to run on skips its slot.
Does Flex Hydra see my Claude or Codex credentials?
No. You sign in through the CLIs themselves, and Flex Hydra only checks that a login exists, never what’s in it.
Does the conversation really carry over to the other account?
Yes. Every account shares your main account’s chat history, so switching resumes the same conversation on the other account, and your files stay on disk.
How does Flex Hydra know my usage?
From the agents themselves: Claude Code reports it through a status line Flex Hydra adds to the panes it starts, and Codex writes it to its own session files. An account that hasn’t run in Flex Hydra yet shows no usage until it does.
What does “Resume at” do?
It waits for the limit to reset and then types “continue” into the pane for you, so the agent picks up where it stopped. You can cancel it anytime before then.
How many accounts can I add?
Every Claude Code and Codex login you have. Each one still runs on its own plan with Anthropic or OpenAI; Flex Hydra doesn’t sell model access.
